The Price of Being (Sort of) Online

What’s the cost of being a woman online? What’s the cost of being a woman who publishes some writing? Every woman has a different answer, I’m sure, but for me it includes death threats. Serious ones. Insidious ones. And the knowledge that there is no correct way to handle such threats.
